Frequently asked questions
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out by 10:00 AM. Check-in is self-service, so you can arrive any time after 3 PM.
Is there parking?
Some apartments include on-site or nearby parking — it's listed on each property's page. If you need parking, just ask and we'll confirm what's available.
What is the minimum stay?
Whole apartments can be booked from one night. Rooms are rented by the week, with a 4-week minimum and 14 days' notice either side.
How does the deposit work?
For apartments, a security hold may be placed on your card. The amount is shown before you pay, and it is released after check-out if the apartment is left in good order. For rooms, the bond (usually one week's rent) is paid once we approve your application and is returned at the end of the tenancy, less any amounts the agreement allows.
Are pets allowed?
Most homes are pet-free to keep them comfortable for everyone. If you're travelling with a pet, message us first and we'll let you know if any property can accommodate it.
Can I apply from overseas?
Yes. Apply online or message us on WhatsApp, and we can show you the room on a video call. Once we approve your application we send a secure link to pay the bond (usually one week's rent) by card. Paying it secures the room from your move-in date, and the flat-sharing agreement then comes to your phone to sign.
How do I pay?
Rooms: the bond (usually one week's rent) by card through the secure link we send; bank transfer by arrangement. Your first week's rent is due 7 days after you move in, then weekly by bank transfer. Apartments: by card when you book online. We can't take WeChat Pay or Alipay.
What do I need to sign the agreement?
Your passport or another photo ID — the agreement is signed in your full legal name as it appears there — plus a phone number and an email address. If we need anything else, such as your visa, we'll tell you before you sign.
